Cooling Types of Domestic Refrigerators – Detailed Guide

How it works:
No Frost refrigerators use fans and air circulation channels to remove moisture and prevent frost from forming. The temperature remains constant on all shelves.

Advantages:
-Never needs defrosting.
-Constant temperature everywhere.
-Food stays fresh for more days.

How it works:
Cooling is done through walls that cool the air without fan circulation. This creates zones of different temperatures and over time ice is formed.

Advantages:
-Low power consumption.
-Quiet operation.

Disadvantages:
-Most economical on the market.
-Ice is formed that needs frequent defrosting.

How it works:
Nano Frost and Low Frost technologies reduce ice production through improved insulation and special evaporation systems. Although ice does form, it builds up much more slowly.

Advantages:
Defrost only 1–2 times a year.
Less maintenance compared to static.
Saves time for the user.

Disadvantages:
Not completely ice-free like No Frost.
